So our Luna Tuna (as we like to call her) is growing up super fast. Hard to believe that we’ve only had her for about 7 months, and that she’s already so grown-up looking. I used to carry her our for piddles at 3 a.m. when she was only 15 lbs! Now she’s pushing 85 lbs!
So I know I posted a while back about a finished quilt top, but not the actual finished quilt. I did finish it months ago, but it’s waiting for a special someone to arrive into the world, and that special someone is due to arrive TOMORROW! So stay tuned! Don't believe those eyes for a second. We pined for her while we were away. She missed us for about a day and then got over it, ’cause Grama had the treats and filled her bowl! I’m sure she’s well over 80 lbs now. [...] I’ve been a very tardy blogger lately. But I have a good reason! Chris and I just got back from an epic journey with our friend Mike via canoe through Wabakimi Provincial Park, located about 4 hours north of Thunder Bay, Ontario near the town of Armstrong (and north of the 50th parallel). The outfitter's van Now [...] finally quilted Ugh. I was about to give up completely. Throw in the towel for good, my brief life as a quilter over and done before it barely began. First I had those thread breakage problems while I was at the cottage that were incredibly upsetting. When I got back to the city [...] Luna & Chris enjoying the remnants of a day at the cottage So I’ve been MIA from the blogosphere yet again but for good reason. Firstly, I’ve been migrating to a new laptop which hast taken some time to get my Aperture library moved (and to learn Aperture 3, which has been completely overhauled from version [...] So proud! Our Luna-Tuna graduated from puppy class last night! She got her very own certificate AND she got to wear a grad cap! She was so thrilled about that part especially. Having worked in the pet industry quite a bit in my youth, I was a bit skeptical of the quality [...] So what if my kid is a dog. Luna Toones Loves her chicken. Can you believe she is only 5 months old? She looks all growd up already. But she’s not. And she’s over 55lbs now. Yeah, she’s [...] So I’ve been building towards a new hobby lately… one I’ve been curious about for some time. Problem is I don’t have time for any extra classes. At least I don’t think I do. Maybe eventually. Maybe after puppy classes are over. In two weeks Luna graduates from puppy class but then immediately starts the intermediate [...] |
